We set up this fund to help James Compton, owner of Yellow City Delivery in Amarillo, TX. James is from Lovington, NM. His parents are Greg & Karen Compton. His sister is Jenna. He is married & has 3 beautiful children. About a month ago,James began having some strange episodes. He went to the doctor & they thought he might have a parasite in his brain & so they treated it that way. This week, James had a follow up MRI & they found a tumor. He will have surgery next week to remove it. James had purchased insurance through the Afordable Care Act for him & his family. When he & his wife had their 3rd baby, they became very frustrated when doctors & hospitals would not take their insurance. They couldn't afford to pay the premiums when it wasn't being taken. So, James dropped it for himself & kept it for his wife & kids. The news of this tumor is devastating for his health &, without insurance, is financially crippling.
