James Chance

Pepper was more than just a father. He was a loving spouse to Kim, for 38 1/2 years.
He was also a brother who always had your back no matter what, a friend when you felt alone, a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen to your problems. He always made sure to put everybody else first, while still trying to deal with his own issues. He was a giver to his core. He loved everybody, even those he just met. When Ben "Pyro" Lingl was in the hospital with covid and his wife wasn't sure he would make it, Pepper was right there next to me helping shovel their driveway so Renee had one less thing to worry about. Pepper, his wife Kimberly, and myself went over and stayed all night a few times to keep her company and try to get her mind off of it...when my brothers snowblower took a shit, dad told me let's load up our snowblower tractor and go clear his driveway and leave it for them to use while we bring his snowblower in to fix it for him...the
list of his selfless acts goes on and on and on, from people in the Militiamen, families, boy scouts, sports with us kids, all the way to people he just met on the road. He had the biggest heart I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, and it was solid gold sprinkled with diamonds...he was a scout master for his sons and venture crew leader for his sons and daughter. Constantly pushing people further because he knew the potential they had, and wanted to help them out...he was always there for any and everybody who needed help. No matter the relationship or lack of. This fundraiser is to help the family with burial and funeral costs.
