Dear James & his broken heart
He was ironing his clothes for work…then he dialed 911. When the sun rose the next day, he was recovering in the Seton ICU from having a heart attack and surgery.
That's my friend, James. I met him when I was 12. Our last names start with the same letter, so our lockers were next to eachother. Something so structured and benign set us up for being lifelong friends.
It is my belief that it often takes a village to uplift and empower. We are stronger together than when we are alone. It is in this spirit that I call for rallying around our dear James, as he medically, physically and financially needs to recover from his mended-yet-broken heart.
So, what does James need? What can we do? He is currently recovering from surgery…this is is second full day at Seton. The beginning of March will be here in a week-and-a-half. James' immediate concerns are rent and bills. He had barely settled into new work when this emergancy happened, and unquestionably won't be able to do much until he gets clearance from his doctors. It is with this knowledge that I emplore your help for his pending bills and unforeseenable care. Thank you.
