"On December 27th my Father, James B Johnston Jr., ended his long battle with COVID-19. He spent several weeks in the hospital; starting December 4th at Greater Baltimore Medical Center, before he needed a transfer to University of Maryland’s Shock Trauma, where he took his final breaths. With COVID restrictions and postal delays, it has been a slow process navigating end of life arrangements.
As the nature of his death was so sudden, we ask for your help as my mother is now left with extensive medical bills, on top of monthly mortgage payments and a funeral to plan.
My father was a jack of all trades, retired Military (HOOAH), Math teacher, lover of cats and most importantly one of the most selfless men I knew, often giving his last few dollars or bus pass away to anyone who needed it.
