Help James and Wilfredo Recover After Wilfredo's Accident

My name is Jeff Cook and I am reaching out to ask for financial support for two dear friends, James and Wilfredo (Willy), who are facing a very challenging situation. On December 24th, 2024, while on holiday in the Philippines, Wilfredo was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident. The accident has left Wilfredo with severe injuries, and doctors believe that he may face paralysis. This heartbreaking news has turned their lives upside down, as you can imagine.

James and Wilfredo have always served others, whether through their 30-year employment with Community Living Toronto, or through Trinity-St. Paul's United Church's ministry. Additionally, during two decades of life in the Philippines, James and Wilfredo dedicated themselves to helping their local community, giving to those who needed it most. Wherever they are, James and Wilfredo share compassion, kindness, love and faith.

Now, more than ever, they need our help.

The funds raised will go toward:

Emergency surgeries and hospital bills

Ongoing medical care and rehabilitation

Relocation or home modifications to accommodate Wilfredo's new needs

Basic living expenses during this time of uncertainty

James and Wilfredo have spent their lives lifting others up - let's come together to show them the love and support they so desperately need.
