James and Joe’s fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer
It’s got to that time of the year to do something absolutely stupid again in the name of charity!
On Friday the 31st of July this year me and one of my best pals Joe Walton are going to be doing a coast to coast walk from Carlisle to Tynemouth for Macmillan Cancer Trust.
It Is something that is close to everyone’s hearts and that’s no different to our own families.
Joes mum Kath, tragically passed away from Cancer 9 years ago and my Auntie Diane is currently undergoing treatment in America.
The walk is just short of 70 miles long. For us to do it we will be setting off from Carlisle around 8pm, walking through the night and all the following day in the hope of getting to Tynemouth just in time for a pint before it gets dark and the pubs shut on Saturday night!
