James and Jared Ledbetter, Father and Son

To all my family and friends. My family has endured great loss and sadness over the past two weeks; with the passing of my brother James and my nephewJared. Joni Ledbetter, James’ wife and Jared's mother passed away at the

age of 41 in 2001. My family has been left in a fragile emotional state. James had a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis for the past 30 years. Recently his health declined rapidly. He succumbed to his illness on June 8, 2022. Just two

weeks later, his son Jared passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on June 22, 2022 at the age of 35. Jared leaves behind 11 year old twins, Avery and

Jackson Ledbetter. Leaving Jed Ledbetter the only surviving member of this small family. Jed and his wife, Fawn, are raising three young sons and are

now responsible for two memorials and end-of-life expenses for James, his

father and Jared his brother. As anyone can imagine, this will be an

overwhelming financial strain for this young family. If you would like to help

alleviate some of the financial burden on this young family, please consider

donating a gift in memory of James and Jared. Any remaining funds will be

put into a trust for Jared’s children, Avery and Jackson Ledbetter.
