James is taking on the mammoth challenge of running 100 miles around Arrow Valley Lake – all in support of families spending Christmas at Ronald McDonald House, Birmingham.

The money raised will go towards buying Christmas gifts for families who will be staying at the House over the festive period, close to their seriously ill children. While the holidays should be a time of joy, for these families it will be spent by a hospital bedside. With your help, we can bring a little bit of normality and comfort, even just for a moment, by making sure they still experience some Christmas magic.

Ronald McDonald House supported Lucie’s family when they needed it most, and continue to support hundreds of families every year. This is our way of giving something back and paying that kindness forward.

Running 100 miles is no easy feat – it will be both physically and mentally brutal – but James is determined to see it through. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a huge difference and keep him going when the miles get tough.
