My name is Jameah, I’m 40 years old and live near Orlando, Florida. Since March 2024, I’ve been battling a serious and life-threatening condition called hypophosphatemia, where the body cannot maintain safe phosphorus levels. Phosphorus is essential for energy, muscle, and heart function, and when it drops, the consequences are devastating.

This condition has left me mostly bedridden. I suffer from extreme fatigue, shortness of breath, chest pain, uncontrollable high blood pressure, muscle twitches, and a dangerously high heart rate (160+ bpm) even with minimal activity. I’ve been to the ER more than 40 times and hospitalized multiple times, with stays ranging from 1 to 11 days.

Because I can no longer work, I’ve lost my income, health insurance, financial stability, and even my marriage. Now I’m facing the terrifying reality of losing my home and having no safe place to go, all while battling a condition that requires constant care.
