Jamaica Needs Us: Relief for Jamaica’s Most Vulnerable

Hi, my name is Tresha Miller, and I’m a proud Jamaican now living in Illinois. My heart breaks seeing the devastating impact Hurricane Melissa has had on my beautiful island, especially on the most vulnerable: Hospitals, shelters and senior homes, that care for our people every day.
This storm feels even more heartbreaking because Jamaica is still recovering from Hurricane Beryl just last year. Our island has barely had time to heal, and now so many are hurting again.
As someone deeply passionate about motherhood and women’s care, and as the Vice President of Mocha Moms, an organization dedicated to supporting women on their motherhood journeys, I feel a personal calling to take action.
This relief fund will provide essential supplies, food, and resources to these institutions. 100% of donations will go directly toward purchasing and shipping items to Jamaica, where trusted community members along with myself will ensure they reach those most in need.
If you’re unable to give financially, you can also help by sending supplies directly to 20015 S LaGrange Rd #1045, Frankfort, IL 60423
Jamaica is my heart, my home, my whole personality, and I know that together, we can help it heal. Every dollar, every box, every act of kindness counts.
Thank you for standing with Jamaica.
