Jamaica Hurricane Melissa support NOW
0% complete
£401 raised of

Hi my name is Mark Collins from the UK.
Over the years I have been involved in business in various capacities in Jamaica. I now operate a Farm in Jamaica in the Parish of St Mary just outside Ochi. I love this Country and the people, some of whom are my extended family and many who are my dear friends.
Jamaica and its people need our support NOW. From my experience the Country is amazing but the bureaucracy and system is extremely slow and they need our assistance NOW. I say this twice heck three times NOW.
The BBC have said this today. “Jamaica has a catastrophe bond - a type of insurance for the country - which will hopefully allow people to get back on their feet, but the issue is what's done in the interim”.
What’s done in the interim is us. NOW!!!!
Please give what you can, the funds will be distributed to the requisite people and families in need of the much needed support. This will range from food, medical supplies, new roofs for their homes and more.
We have decided to donate all funds raised so far to Pencils4kids, a boots on the ground organisation in Jamaica. Thank you for your support.
Many thanks in advance.
Mark & Jamaica
