Brixton Masjid established over 30 years ago in South London by a group of revert muslims predominantly from the carribean based in Brixton a long standing community with links to Jamaica and the carribean. It was the hub for carribeans settling in the UK over time the muslim community grew and expanded Alhamdulillah. Then over the last 20 years the dawah in Jamaica has grown tremendously with thousands of muslims entering Islam with the masjid running concurrent dawah programmes over the last few years.
Now the muslims our brothers and sisters over there and the general people are in great need of a category 5 storm wreak havoc across the island particularly in Western Jamaica - there are masjids that are in need of repair peoples houses and damaged and destroyed wealth and property gone and even lives lost by. By the Decree of Allah so give what you can to aid our brothers and sisters to repair and rebuild their lives.
The funds raised will be sent to brothers that we know and trust on the ground in Jamaica to be distributed with عدل (Fairness) insha Allah
