Greetings everyone, I am Bishop M. Brooks.

I am reaching out on behalf of Emanuel's Hope Restored Church of God on the island of Jamaica to ask for your support in this urgent time of need. The communities in the parishes of Clarendon, Manchester, and Saint Elizabeth have been severely devastated and suffered significant losses by the recent hurricane.

For more than 40 years, we at Emanuel's Hope Baptist Church Inc. in Montclair, NJ since 1984 have ministered faithfully across the six locations of EHRCOG in Jamaica—feeding the hungry, clothing the needy, supporting widows and the fatherless, and offering HOPE to the most vulnerable. The founding fathers of EHRCOG the late—Overseer Leonard McIntosh, Bishop Nehemiah Brooks, and Bishop Sturley Brooks—incorporated EHRCOG churches in 1987 in Jamaica, with a vision to serve God’s people with compassion and dedication. We have continued that mission every single year through nonstop outreach and missionary work.

Today, we are facing one of our greatest challenges. Many worshippers have been severely impacted, and at the Hibernia, Manchester location, the roof of Emanuel’s Hope Restored Church of God was completely destroyed, leaving the sanctuary exposed and unsafe.

This is why we urgently need your help. Every contribution—large or small—makes a real difference.
