Jalia (Lia) Ho'opi'i's "Ovarian Cancer Battle"

Aloha to All, 
My name is Maurice Garcia (hanai father & friend) and I am sharing this story of Jalia(Lia)Ho'opi'i with all of you to give you a better insight as to why we are here today.
Lia is a 37 year old young mother of 7 beautiful children, an adorable grandson with 2 more on the way and also mother to a few hanai (adopted) children and grandchildren. She is also a loving wife of 20 some years to her husband Llewellyn Ho'opi'i.
 I know Lia to be the strength and the component that holds this beautiful family together. She is a hard working nurse at Kapiolani Hospital and she is always tending to the needs of her family in her spare time. It's safe to say and very evident that only a few things matter to her in her life other than God and her Family.
 Lia is now fighting for her life as she battles cancer for the third time in her young life. She was diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer back in July of this year and she has not been able to work and can barely leave her bed since this diagnoses. 
 The Family is desperately trying to seek other methods of cures and second opinions. They are also looking to possibly take her to City of Hope in southern California for the latest technology in treatment but all of this will require additional funds to accommodate their travel and lodging along with the cost of treatment that their insurance will not cover.
 She has overcome and beat cancer 2 times before and with God on her side and a little help from all of you, were are hoping to get her the treatment she needs to get her back to what she loves and misses the most, raising her children and being there for the birth of her grand babies and to watch them grow up.
 As we enter this holiday season, the Ho'opi'i Family is asking all of you to find it in your hearts to please help with whatever you can for Lia and her family. They would love to be able to get her the treatment she needs and to get back to the life she once had.
