Hi, my name is Afrah and we are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved son; JJ. He was so loved by his parents, his sisters, his grandparents and anyone who met him. He truly was the light of all of our lives. His passing has left us so broken but he was such a fighter. He fought so hard against a vicious disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy, type 0 (SMA). He had the most severe form of the decease. The disease causes severe muscle weakness and respiratory disease which was present at birth. With JJ’s passing we’ve had a lot of things planned with the help of many family members and social workers. But with that being said we’ve had many unexpected fees we’ve had to cover, so we’re looking for help to pay for a plaque for JJ’s grave. Anything is appreciated. <3
