End of Life Expenses
Sharron Dale Wagner (Foster) born 4.10.57 leaving this world for the next 4.14.23 just celebrated here 66th birthday under sedation in ICU. She will be celebrated 4.23.23 on her 6th year of sobriety.
An infection, Endocarditis, went undetected and spread rapidly, far and wide to the spine and brain. She and dozens of people have spent 7 days in ICU/AVU fighting an aggressive illness that has resulted in a sudden and unexpected passing.
She will be remembered for many many things like her kindness, compassion and empathy. Her strength through difficult situations. The ability to liven any party or make one out of dull times. Eccentric out fits and LOVE of holidays. The dedication to family, forgiveness and fortitude of character. To me…for being the best mom she could be with what she was given and guiding me to find my higher power and self.
In February we were lucky to have had a conversation on mortality and our beliefs on quality of life, DNR, last wishes and insurance. She unfortunately was unable to get the last of which done in time.
Now we’re faced with picking up some of the last little pieces and are asking for help. There will be more costs associated with her passing than she had in assets. Living humbly proved for a simple and purpose driven life, that we are beyond grateful for, yet leaves a void spanning from emotional to financial and everything in between.
My family thanks you for prayers, thoughts and contributions. We pray that everyone remembers to forgive, love, smile, adventure, take chances, have faith, help others and please please please make sure to regularly check one’s health.
