Jakoby needs your help

While we were all enjoying our Christmas, safe and warm, this poor guy spent Christmas freezing in a ditch, with gunshot wounds and a busted hip from being hit by a car. My heart hurts for him He's had such a rough life. Please don't let it end this way.
I need your help to help him.
He was found by deputies laying in the middle of Hwy 2 in Plain Dealing, LA....in freezing weather!!

What we know SO FAR:
He has 2 different types of gunshot wounds and a busted hip, he will need a back leg amputated. His tongue has multiple lacerations from possibly biting down on it while being hit by the vehicle, he is severely dehydrated, bad laceration on his elbow and up front leg, one of the back legs will have to be amputated, road rash on head and all over, x-ray also showed several pellets/bullets but looks like he was shot a while ago. He's had a ROUGH LIFE. He is covered in ticks. He is in shock and is being treated for it now, and is getting pain management. The vet's office stated he is such a gentle, sweet dog. He is constantly wagging his tail. He deserves a second chance for someone to love him. He is in bad shape but in good spirits. We can learn so much from dogs.
With all that said, I am asking for help with his vet bill. He is so worth saving, but we can’t do it alone.
