Karyn Jakobs was the most amazing mother, wife, and friend. She brightened the lives of everyone she came in contact with. From the moment you met Karyn, there was an automatic connection and love for her wonderful spirit and an immediate recognition of her love for others.
Karyn's brave battle with cancer came to an end on October 12, 2016. She is now healed and in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. There is no more cancer, no more pain, no more suffering, but the memories of friendship and love remain here on earth. Karyn's testament lives on through her surviving family - Jim, Ben, Zach, Eva, Sam and Olivia Jakobs. Karyn loved her family and her one concern was that they would be taken care of. Karyn cared for her family from home by homeschooling the five children and running them to and from their various activities. As a now single father with a demanding job, Jim will need help from others to ensure that he has the financial means to provide for his family.
Please consider helping the Jakobs family during their time of loss and transition by making a monetary donation. Karyn blessed so many people with her life, and we now have an opportunity to return some of her love! The hope is to provide enough financial support to help Jim with child care, transportation assistance, and continued means for activities the kids are involved in as well as any other family needs that may arise.
