I am raising funds on behalf of Hannah Pitman and her dog Jake.
Jake is a special dog for a number of reasons. He was abused, malnourished, and neglected by his previous owner. Many people saw him being physically abused in public. Somehow, this never dimmed his friendly, cuddly spirit. Somehow, he still trusts humans.
Hannah is a special person for a number of reasons. She took it upon herself to rescue Jake and nurse him back to health. She is the most selfless person I know. She never gave up on him and welcomed him into her home.
Jake needs life-saving abdominal surgery. On top of the initial $2300+ for treatment, the vet has to put him under for a ~$7k surgery due to abdominal blockages.
Right now, this is an extreme financial burden. Our friend Hannah needs our help.
