Hi! My name is Jake O'Brien and I'm aiming to raise funds for a beautiful school in need of support called SCS & SPFCO based Siem Reap, Cambodia by running the Dublin City Half Marathon. I visited on a trip last year and was truly amazed at the kindness and generosity of spirit offered by Bunhoeun Chheng, the School Director and Founder. He offers much needed and valuable education for local children and families experiencing poverty.

In his own words: "SCS School is a small community school located in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Our mission is to provide free education and support to children from underprivileged and low-income families. Since our founding, we have been committed to giving children access to English education, basic literacy, and life skills that will help them build a better future. Many of our students come from families who cannot afford private schooling. Today, SCS School supports around 500 students from disadvantaged backgrounds. We believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and creating new opportunities for the next generation. With the help of volunteers and generous supporters, we continue working to provide a safe, caring, and inspiring learning environment for every child."
