Jake's Cafe Emergency

Hi my name is Jeremiah Richardson and I am fundraising for Jacob Harkness owner of Jake's Cafe in Las Cruces, NM.

Over the past few weeks our friend Jake has been dealt with many financial blows both for his business and also personally. He most recently had to close his doors due to an accident in which a patron wrecked their car through the side of his business causing structural damage as well as busting the gas meter. Thankfully there were no injuries to any parties involved. He is also having to have surgery in 2 weeks to address some major health issues.

Through this he has been getting the runaround from the insurance companies paying for any of damages. The use of funds raised will go into repairs for his business. His main goal is to get up and running as soon as possible so he can get his employees back to work as many of them depend on this for their household income.

Jake has done a lot for the community and City of Las Cruces including feeding the elderly and shut ins during the pandemic last year. Let's all rally together and give him a hand up and get him back in business.
