Help Jake cover 7-week hospital stay

For the past 10 years I have struggled with severe stomach problems, particularly with chronic bleeding ulcers.  Doctor after doctor would provide temporary solutions but the problem persisted. Throughout this period of time I have never been able to eat the proper amount and it has been a great hinderance  

After doing lots of research, I found a great gastroenterologist at Cedars Sinai who recommended a nationally renowned GI surgeon. They discovered that I have some sort of genetic defect that causes my stomach to constantly over-produce acid. Because of this, my stomach ulcers never fully healed, and by January 2021, my stomach had inflamed to 5x the size of a normal stomach with much internal scabbing and bleeding. 

Through surgery, they were able to successfully remove the part of my stomach that over-produced acid and re-sew my stomach back together.  The doctors expect that I will have a full recovery and be ableto live a normal life. 

However, so much damage was done that it took 7 weeks for me to recover to a stable enough level to return home. As we speak I still have 4 drains coming out of my stomach and still rely on an IV to supplement my nutrition. We anticipate that I will be off the IV and have my drains removed within the next few weeks. 

Unfortunately, even with good insurance,the 7-week hospital stay was not cheap. I am setting up a GoFundMe to help cover the costs. As a token of my appreciation to anybody who donates, I will send them digital copies of the ambient relaxation album I made while I was in the hospital. The album is called “Ambrosia.”  Making this album was an amazing therapy and helped me get through the pain I experiencedI hope it can bring you and everyone else who listens the same peace that it brought me.
