Jake's Chemo Treatment

Where to even start...
4 years ago I rescued Jake at 8 weeks old. I know it's cliche, but the saying that your dog is actually the one who rescued you is an understatement. I always feared the day that I'd lose him, but never contemplated it being so soon.
This week I noticed him not feeling his usual puppy energy so I took him to get checked out. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with lymphoma and I was given the option to either treat him with steroids which would prolong his life an incredibly short 2 months or put him through chemotherapy which has an 80-90% chance of remission. This has by far been the hardest decision I've ever had to make and the most emotional roller coaster at the thought of losing my baby so soon. 4 years just wasn't enough time. My best friend and sidekick needs my help.
I always prayed I wouldn't be in a position to ask for help, but he means more to me than pride ever will. A round of chemo costs about $6,000 and coming up with the funds to do it as soon as he needs it has proven challenging. With the effects of COVID and the holidays, I know funds are tight right now for so many, and I could never truly express my gratitude for anything contributed.
From the bottom of our hearts, we are so grateful for any help treating Jake.
