I never imagined going into 2019 our lives would be shaken upside down and I would be reaching out to you all for your prayers and support. Jake Harris, is my best friend, husband and the father of our three beautiful daughters. Jake "walked" into the hospital with back pain earlier this year and since that day he hasn't been able to walk since. My husband was diagnosed with papillary renal cell carcinoma (PRCC), which is a type of cancer that occurs in the kidneys. The cancer started to spread to his spine causing him to become paralyzed from the waist down.
This journey has required my husband to be hospitalized for the last several months, undergo rounds of chemotherapy, exams, biopsies, and various surgeries to say the least. Due to his illness, he has been unable to work and I have had to take a considerable amount of time off to support and help Jake. We have incurred many medical expenses as you can imagine; to include now having to make our home wheelchair accessible. In addition, we have been preparing to send our first child, Zharia Harris off to college this fall. Its been a overwhelming road filled with lots of prayer, tears, joys, the unknown, and warm embraces. Our girls have been by their Dad's side and often refuses to leave the hospital.
We are asking for donations of any kind no matter how small to help us during this challenging time. We would be forever grateful and appreciate your support. You can make a donation thru GoFundMe or by using PayPal [email redacted] . Even if you cannot make a monetary donation than I ask that you please lift my husband and family in prayer. Thank you in advance for your help and we ask that you please share Jake's story #Fighterjake. We will keep you updated on Jake's progress as we continue the fight. Please feel free to follow our story or follow me on facebook. #fighterjake
We have been fighting this cancer and will continue to fight-up with everything in us.
Thank you in advance for all your support and prayers.
Sincerely,
Lynne Harris
