Help Jake recover physically & financially ♥️

On July 26, 2022, my brother in law, Jake Wambold, went in for an outpatient procedure that changed his life over night. A simple surgery that was supposed to alleviate severe back pain and numbness in his hand… went so wrong. This lead to two months in the hospital without the ability to eat on his own, walk, talk, or even use his hands at all.

In the meantime, my sister in law (an amazing wife, mother, friend) is taking on some new roles; sole provider, nurse, insurance navigator, chauffeur, and the list goes on and on.

It’s an unfortunate situation that has left them financially overwhelmed. Jake is unable to work and disability is taking forever to kick in. The medical bills keep piling up thanks to the hospital stay, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, etc.

On a positive note - Jake is remaining optimistic and working so hard! He is getting stronger day by day, determined to fully recover. Which isn’t a surprise if you know him, right?

Maybe you grew up with Jake… maybe you knew him while he was touring with his band… maybe you’ve worked with him. Either way, you know how incredible he truly is.

He is the most ENERGETIC, outgoing, fun, loving, caring, and down to earth human. Speaking of earth, he would run across it to help anyone in need. He can’t necessarily do that at the moment. But he can walk like hell with his walker and it would take him a really long time but he will get there. (He will think this is funny, I promise, that’s another great quality - a sense of humor).

If you’re still reading this. You’re a trooper! Thank you. All in all, I don’t want my nieces to go without. I want Jake to focus on recovery. I want Kelly to breathe a little easier. I just want to hopefully take some financial stress off while they wait for disability. It’s a lot to ask but I know they would appreciate it ♥️
