Hello friends and family, as some of you know I was diagnosed with testicular cancer on October 12, 2016. I had surgery to remove my left testicle which was taken over by the tumor.  The cancer has spread into some lymph nodes behind my abdomen.  Starting November 7, I will start an aggresive form of chemotherapy.  This will be an "outpatient" procedure for 5 days at a time, up to 8 hrs a day, every 3 weeks.   So 1 week in the hospital, 2 weeks home (with many appts during this time).  I won't be able to work my usual hours.  If you know me, I am a hardworker, and never ask for help, but in this situation, I am afraid I will need help and support.  

Ways to help the Samuelson Family:

1. Cover us in Prayer. First and foremost, we ask for prayers.  Prayers for a full recovery, prayers that there won't be any complications, prayers for the best doctors to help us, and prayers of support to get our family through this rough time. 

2. Financial Support.  Chemotherapy is very expensive.  Add on top of that the fact that I can't work my usual hours.   Angie is going to continue working as much as she can, outside of helping/supporting me.  We are going to have a rough couple of months ahead of us.  With medical bills, normal bills, groceries, etc- the cost is going to add up.   Every donation will help, no matter the amount.  

Angie and I can't put into words how grateful we are to have the love and support of all our family and friends.  Several of you have asked how you can help us out.  So I thought I'd start this account for anyone who feels obliged to help.  We appreciate greatly any forms of support- prayer, calls/texts, financial, companionship.   Rough times make you realize how truly great family and friends are.  Thank you to everyone for your continued support.
