Jake Palazzi Medical Expenses Fund

Donation protected
Jake was recently involved in a climbing accident in which he miraculously survived an 80ft fall. Both of his hips and several ribs are broken as well as having  a collapsed lung. He was helicoptered from Smith Rock to the hospital and then again from the hospital in Bend to OHSU. These flights are extremely expensive ($12,000-$20,000 per flight) and so is the very necessary treatment he is getting currently at OHSU.

Jake had hip surgery and will undoubtedly be requiring services and procedures for quite some time as well as needing physical therapy.

Jake is adored by everyone that he comes into contact with. That silly grin, chiseled biceps, the goofy jokes.  Jake has a positive personality that we are all drawn to.  His excitement is never more obvious than when he sets off on an adventure in the outdoors and he is currently seeking a career in environmental sciences (he really loves birds).

He's extremely strong in his will and attitude and will undoubtedly, with some help from all of us, keep his spirits up. Our greatest hope for Jake is that he will regain full mobility, be free of chronic pain and be able to pursue his passions outdoors. We can support him in this by ensuring that he has financial access to the care that will give him the best shot at this.
