Hi, my name is Amanda Salazar and I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of the Westside Band Alumni for Stephanie Galvan and her family.

Stephanie's husband, Jake, passed away on July 19, 2021 from complications from COVID-19. Stephanie and Jake had been married for almost a year. They would have celebrated their first anniversary on July 25.

Jake was the best. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and son. He taught automotive technologies at Summer Creek High School. But really, he taught the young ladies and gentlemen in his classes how to be good people. He was thoughtful and gave the best hugs in the world. He loved the outdoors and often wanted to be hiking or otherwise out in nature. He constantly pushed the people around him to be the best versions of themselves they could be.

Jake will be remembered by his wife, Stephanie, and two sons, Nate and Luke, as well as the rest of his family and the people whose lives he touched.

Any and all donations to help Stephanie and her family are greatly appreciated. These funds will help with unforeseen funeral expenses and hospital bills. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
