Hi, my name is Dianna, and I am Jake's mom.  We are members of the Sachem community where is Jake is a senior at Sachem North.  Jake has been fighting osteosarcoma for 4 1/2 years; it began at the age of 13. We are one month away from his 18th birthday to find out that we are out of options on treatments that are available for Jake to use. The cancer has consumed most of both lungs at this point. And progressing rapidly.

 

Jake has had multiple lung surgeries over the years and a below-the-knee amputation in October 2017. Yet, he is the true definition of strength and perseverance to us all.

 

We are searching worldwide for another treatment that may be able to help Jake. We are hoping for the best and preparing for the worst. Although, no mom can ever be prepared for the worst.

 

Please help us make his dreams come true by helping raise funds for the things on his wishlist, such as a Raptor 700, renting a "lambo" for the day, going to see the New York Rangers play again. These funds will also help pay for medical bills, lost wages, and any other costs that come along with the unthinkable.
