Hi my name is Shirley and we are fund raising to honour the legacy our our dear friend Jake Clarke.

We are coming together to celebrate the life of Jake Clark, a beloved friend, neighbour, and pillar of the Gillingham and wider Medway communities, who passed away suddenly on 13th March .
Jake was best known as the heart and soul behind "All About the Dog". Jake covered not only Kent but Surrey, Sussex and Essex.

To Jake, it was never just a business; it was a calling. He possessed a rare gift for connecting with animals, but his true impact lay in how he supported people. He didn’t just train dogs—he helped owners find confidence, patience, and a deeper understanding of their loyal companions.

The Great Lines was Jake’s second home. It’s where he walked his own dogs every day, shared advice with fellow walkers, and found peace in the outdoors. To honor his memory, we are raising £2,000 to install a memorial bench in this special place.

Our hope is to create a spot where friends, family, and the many members of the community he helped can sit, reflect, and watch the dogs run by—just as Jake loved to do.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us reach this goal and ensure that Jake’s kindness and dedication to our community are never forgotten. Should we exceed the target, any funds in excess will be donated to Jakes favourite dog rescue - New Hope Sanctuary who have helped rehome Mollie (English Bull) and foster Finn & Eddie).

Thankyou for your support and for keeping Jake and his loved ones in your thoughts.
