Jake Cassella Recovery Fund

Early Saturday morning (07/10/21) Jake Cassella and Billy Breitenbach were unfortunately involved in a serious motorcycle accident. The accident involved the two of them and another car, Billy and Jake are fortunate to be alive given how severe the situation was. Thankfully Billy is home from the hospital and doing well. Jake has been making great progress with his injuries but his situation is exponentially more complicated. He suffered a broken femur, his pelvis was broken into nine pieces, multiple internal injuries, a laceration in his diaphragm, injured ribs, an injured left wrist... Since Saturday he has undergone multiple surgeries and has one more scheduled for this Saturday. Fortunately these surgeries have been going smoothly. His internal injuries, femur, diaphragm, have all been successfully operated on, and his surgery this Saturday should wrap up the situation with his pelvis.

Those who have the pleasure of knowing Jake, whether it be Family or Friend, are already aware that he is one of the toughest humans on the planet. He is also one of the most selfless. Jake would do anything for those who are important to him and now it's our turn to show him we can do the same.

Jake has been fighting the good fight through this whole process but he has a very long recovery road ahead of him. The goal here is to raise enough money to help Jake make a full and efficient recovery while doing it as comfortably as possible. He is going to have his work cut out for him so the least we can do is try to limit his financial burdens during this time. When he is discharged we will be getting everything and anything we can for him and the money we raise will help pay for all of it.
