Jake Browne's Journey to Life

This story is from Jake's mother. Jake is battling soft tissue sarcoma, a vicious form of cancer, but we are standing on God's promises that Jake will be made completely whole.

I am doing this GOFUNDME for their family. They will be traveling back and forth to Houston. The costs are mounting, medical bill building. Let's join hands with this family and support them in all ways:

2. Finances. - Give sacrificially like this is your own child.

3. Meals for the littles left back at home.

It feels like the right time to share what’s going on. We could use everyone’s prayers specifically for Jacob.

The short version is #Cancer. He woke up about a month ago with a lump on his forearm (its about half of the size of a golfball on the outside but more than 4cm total). The MRI results have us traveling to Houston to see Dr. Valerae Lewis the -HEAD- orthopedic oncologist in their sarcoma unit. MD Anderson Cancer Center Houston is known for their limb preservation and retention specifically as it relates to this type of soft tissue sarcoma.

Hear me when I say that our God goes B|E|F|O|R|E us. We know that H•I•S plan is *ALWAYS* for us and we place our trust in him. No matter the diagnosis WE WILL PRAISE JESUS! We know that when two or more gather in the name of Jesus, miracles happen.

Jake is calm and collected and preparing his heart and mind for Wednesday. There will be a lot of additional testing which will undoubtedly be exhausting.

Please join our family in praying for the medical and facility staff, from the first person we see in reception, to the laboratory personnel who will evaluate the specimens, to the provider herself. Please pray that we receive clear direction on next steps and that through the process people see our Jesus shining through.

We leave on Tuesday for testing all day Wednesday.
