Jake and Acadia LaBranche

Hi my name is Shelley LeBlanc, I am setting up this gofundme for my Brother Jake, his Wife and their Daughter. It all started one month ago today. Jake and Amber’s 6 month old daughter went to the hospital because she had a stomach virus and was dehydrating. After many blood test she was diagnosed with a rare genetic disease called Glycogen Storage Disease (GSD). She was in the hospital for over three weeks and had to have a G-tube inserted in her stomach . She has a long road ahead of her . They have Insurance, but have to pay a copay of 55.00 each time she goes to the doctor which will be 2-3 times a week for the first month or so. She also needs medical supplies which can be costly. Amber has to take a leave of absence from work to get Acadia well. She came home from the hospital on October 8th, then just four short days later Jake was on his way to work and was in a terrible car accident. He was air lifted to the hospital and was in surgery for over three hours. The next three days will be crucial for him. He has a long road ahead of him. He definitely had an angel with him because by the looks of his truck he should not be here with us.
