Hello, my name is Jessica Ohler, and I’m reaching out for help on behalf of my beloved dog, Hazel. She is a cherished member of our family, and right now she is facing a serious medical emergency.

Hazel has been diagnosed with open pyometra, a life-threatening infection of the uterus that requires immediate surgery. The only treatment is an emergency hysterectomy, and without it, her condition can quickly become fatal.

Hazel is currently being treated through North Central West Virginia Veterinary Emergency Clinic. The total estimated cost for her surgery and care is $3,316.75, which includes the procedure, a required recheck due to bringing her home, and associated veterinary fees. Unfortunately, the clinic has informed us that they cannot keep Hazel or begin treatment unless we are able to put at least $2,192.13 down immediately.
