Jai’s fight for life #cancersucks
Donation protected
As you know i fundraise a lot for families that have been struck a very hard blow. Almost 2 years ago I started a campaign for Elizabeth who is Jai’s uncle, we were overwhelmed by the gracious love and generosity our community came to help Elizabeth’s final dreams come true.
This time it’s not going to be final dreams, because Jai has promised that he will fight with every inch of his strength to be around for his daughters.
Last week Jai was diagnosed with bowel cancer, he will spend months in Adelaide while he undergoes life saving treatment to ensure he can keep his promise to his daughters and family.
As you may know accommodations for adults suffering cancer is not as easily accessible as it is for children, and living as a Riverlander most of his life he has nowhere to stay during his treatment (doctors are trying their hardest) He will not be able to work during this treatment and for sometime afterwards.
Jai is a beautiful soul, he was with Elizabeth through every treatment up until we all said goodbye together. He heavily contributes to the Heavy Metal community by donating considerable amounts of time to his radio station https://www.facebook.com/Jaithataussiemetalguy?mibextid=LQQJ4d
He is so passionate interviewing many A list musicians and sharing joy within the community. He also travels widely to watch up and coming muso’s preform and offers them a platform to be enjoyed and shared.
Jai has overcome many tragedies in his short 42 years. You’ll always see him smiling the brightest smile, he’s the hype man you want on your team. The friend, the brother, the father, the son. It is a privilege to watch him parent his daughters and to love his family.
Jai is very scared, he’s vulnerable and in a lot of pain, but he is fierce and refuses to give up. Just like Elizabeth this beautiful man has the strength of a lion and brightness of the moon.
Please give, share, send love, follow his station and pray. We will be forever grateful
