Jairus Hicks - Brown Recluse Victim

Hi, my name is Gartrel and I’m fundraising for my Cousin Jairus Hicks. Jairus is unfortunately suffering from a “Brown Recluse” bite/injury. For those who aren’t familiar with this deadly spider, it is a very poisonous and deadly spider whose venom can destroy blood vessels, tissue, and nerves.

Jairus has been hospitalized since June 21st, and is expected to be there for several more weeks. In conjunction with suffering from all the effects of the bite, Doctors found multiple blood clots. He has undergone multiple reconstructive procedures that he’s not currently finished with ; there’s many more to follow. His recovery path is going to very challenging and tedious, but he is up for the challenge.

This fundraiser will help Jairus pay for expenses that continue to accumulate while he is hospitalized. He will be out of work for at least 12 -16 weeks barring any setbacks. Anything that you contribute will help him tremendously. We are so thankful to those who already have or plan to help Jairus
