Meet Jair Ayalas. He is the son of one of my employees and a hard-working student, a young man who has overcome enormous obstacles in his life, and an aspiring lawyer, eager to dedicate his career to helping low-income workers and immigrants.

Jair has been accepted to Suffolk University for the spring of 2021, and plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in law. He has already completed an associate’s degree in paralegal studies at Bunker Hill Community College, where he was an honors student and a leader in student government while also working to support himself. He’s been awarded a scholarship at Suffolk but needs to raise additional funds to complete his studies. As an immigrant and DACA student from Mexico, he is not eligible for federal college assistance. 

 “Should you donate or share my story, I am committed to expanding my educational path to contribute to my community,” Jair says. “Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I look forward to having the chance to progress and hopefully one day mentor a new generation of lawyers.”
