A VERY BAD TIME FOR A SPECIAL FRIEND
One of my very best cycling friend Jair Valencia, was in a serious accident with a car while cycling home after a ride I led last Saturday. He and I generally ride to most ride start locations and then ride home together, me leaving after he reaches his then finishing my trip alone. On this day we both did just that, but for the trip home we parted several miles before his home. If this had not happened things may have turned out different.
I am beside myself right now and cannot even start to go into the severity of what happened as it's too painful. The outcome is not life threatening although extremely serious, and not any easier to deal with.
Please send your well wishes and prayers which I will communicate to Jair. He does not use Facebook but knowing about all the support from friends will help a great deal.
My prayers are with you for recovering Jair as my heart aches tremendously. I am in tears right now and sobbing.
