Jairo to Music Festival in Spain!

Please help us raise money for Jairo to attend the AIMS music festival in Northern Spain the summer!
Jairo, age 16, is a Herbert Zipper Scholar at the Colburn School of Performing Arts in Los Angeles, where he majors in flute and also studies music theory, chamber music, and plays in the band.
Jairo is a very talented young man who has not yet had opportunity to interact with the community of musicians outside of Los Angeles.
Jairo has never been on an airplane, so he's a little worried about that, but is happy that he already speaks Spanish!
Jairo will study with some of the preeminent wind teachers in Europe, will meet and play with students from all over the world, and will broaden his horizons by visiting another country for the first time. It is a tremendous honor for him to be invited to this festival.
Jairo's budget is:
Airfare: $740
Tuition, room, and 2 meals a day: $840
Passport fee: $145
Dinners for 11 days: $150
Total: $1,875
