Jaime's Road to Recovery Fighting Against Cancer

Dear friends and family,

I am reaching out today on behalf of Jaime G. Rosas, a beloved member of our community who is battling cancer. Jaime is a loving father and a kind man helping anyone in need. As many of you know, Jaime has been battling this painful and unwavering disease and in silence has been dealing with an aggressive cancer that has taken a toll on his health and life.

Jaime has been living with Stage 3 Oral Cancer since December 2022. Following more than 6 hours of surgery, PET scans, CT scans, and biopsies we received the diagnosis of the cancer in his tongue and lymph nodes has an aggressive cancer prognosis. 60 percent of patients have this cancer and end up on hospice/palliative care. Jaime has been a fighter and a thriver that he decided the best option for him would be to have surgery to remove cancerous tissues and cells on January 24, 2023. The surgery required a 6 week recovery time and Jaime decided to put up a brave fight and start radiation for 6 weeks. Jaime’s intense radiation treatment has left him with no teeth, the inability to eat, and chronic fatigue and weakness. He has now had his 3rd surgery and has a new way of life with his feeding tube. Jaime is no longer able to care for himself and he now requires assistance with his every day activities of daily living. Jaime has not been able to work since the start of his cancer diagnosis. His medical bills and the cost of treatment have been a heavy burden. There are countless expenses in medical costs to pay 4 different surgeons and doctors, in-patient treatments, & medical supplies and medications.

Any donation, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated. All funds raised with your help will be directly to his medical bills. Jaime’s prognosis is to beat this against all odds to see his daughters grow up and continue his journey to recovery.
