Update: Jaime is back home. Visitors are welcome starting 5/20. If you are sick, please refrain from visiting as Jaime is in a delicate state. We ask that you please silence your phones and speak softly when in the room. If he’s asleep please do not wake or shake him.

As many of you know, Jaime has been battling cancer for about four years. He has fought a good fight, never giving up, defeating odds, and persevering. Throughout this journey, Jaime has shown his heart, his unwavering faith, and commitment to Christ.

This battle has come to a sudden halt. His medical team has exhausted all the tools and medical treatment. His family has had to make the difficult decision to move forward with comfort care. Jaime’s care team is now prioritizing his comfort and symptom management rather than curative treatments.

Many of you have asked for a timeline, what does that look like? The only answer we have is, we have placed it in God's hands and all in his due timing.

Jaime’s wife and loved ones have gathered at his bedside in prayer, worship, laughter, and many tears. Enjoying the moments with Jaime, ensuring that he knows he is loved.

These funds will help Jaime and Andrea cover the cost of medical care, loss of wages, and for what’s to come.

We invite you all to join us in prayer for Jaime’s beautiful life. For his comfort, for his joy, and for his family.

Como muchos de ustedes saben, Jaime ha estado luchando contra el cáncer por los ultimos cuatro años. Lucho duro, sin rendirse nunca, venciendo las adversidades y perseverando. A lo largo de este viaje, Jaime ha mostrado un corazon fuerte, una fe inquebrantable y su compromiso con Cristo.

Tristemente esta batalla ha tomado un giro de repente. El equipo médico ha agotado todas las opciones de tratamiento. La familia ha tomado la difícil decisión de continuar con los cuidados paliativos. El equipo médico que atiende a Jaime ha establecido como prioridad la comodidad, en lugar de centrarse en tratamientos curativos.

Muchos se han preguntado cuánto tiempo le queda para la etapa final de su vida. La única respuesta que tenemos es que lo hemos puesto en las manos de Dios y que todo sucederá a su debido tiempo.

La esposa de Jaime y sus seres queridos se han reunido junto a su lado en oración, adoración, risas y muchas lágrimas. Disfrutando de los ultimos momentos, asegurándonos de que el sienta el amor de cada uno de su familia.

Estos fondos ayudarán a Jaime y Andrea poder cubrir los gastos de atención médica, pérdida de salarios y lo que está por venir.
