Jaime's Brain Tumor Battle

Donation protected
My sister, Jaime Hosford, underwent neurosurgery on May 4, 2015 to remove a brain tumor. The tumor was encompassing the optic never and pressing on the hypothalamus causing some vision problems and hormone imbalances. Unfortunately, they were not able to remove the entire tumor, but thankfully it is not cancer.  She has required an extended stay in the ICU due to confusion, hormone imbalances, swelling, and pain. The surgery was more complicated than expected, and her short term memory has been affected. The Doctor reports this is due to the area of the brain that was operated on, swelling of the brain, and ICU settings. He remains hopeful that her memory will improve with time.

Jaime (36 years old) is a loving wife and mother to three beautiful girls. She is a compassionate and selfless daughter, sister, and friend. Jaime and her family live in Daphne, AL, and she had surgery in New Orleans, LA. Her husband and three girls have been commuting back and forth on the weekends while they try to finish this school year.

May is brain tumor awareness month. Please help support, advocate, and cure. Jaime has a long, tough road to recovery. Anything to help ease the financial burden is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for all of the love and support.
