Please help Jaime with medical bills due to cancer

Hi, my name is Nicole and I am fundraising for my step father, Jaime and mother, Shirley.

Recently, Jaime has been diagnosed with stage 3 esophageal cancer. Jaime has been the sole bread winner for the last 3 years before my mom had a medical emergency that now led her to have to stop working permanently. Jaimes diagnosis in November was a complete shock to the family. Jaime has been undergoing treatment for the last 2 months or so and he is unable to work because of radiation 5x a week and chemo every week. He also has a feeding tube that was put in because he hasn't been able to eat and was losing a lot of weight. Jaime is hooked up to the tube about 10 hours a day so hes able to get the proper nutrients. Eating has become too painful. Jaimes insurance now is not covering any medical supplies for the feeding tube. It's costing him $200 a month just for the food that goes into the tube. He has not worked in 2 months so it has been difficult to afford these things on top of paying their necessary bills and mortgage. We are waiting now to see if other charities are able to help including the American cancer society, People for people, and Catholic charities to help with medical, food, and housing expenses. Jaime will be undergoing the surgery to remove the cancer in a few weeks. We are hoping that after he recovers that he will be cancer free and be able to get back on his feet.
