Two dear friends of mine are in dire straits.
This is Jaime and Fuj Ieli’s story.
Last year, while at work.....Fuj broke his foot.
He went straight to the ER, had a cast put on...and was sent home to heal. After multiple trips to Doctors’, Emergency Room visits....several months had gone by. Doctors’ decided that his foot wasn’t healing properly. He was told, that surgery was necessary. He has had the surgery, and is now recovering all over again. It’s still painful for him to walk.
Their children are now six and four. While Fuj was trying to recover, Jaime was also recovering from cervical disc fusion, from an auto accident. She went back to work as a food server, lifting heavy trays of food. She hadn’t had the necessary time to heal completely and suffered multiple setbacks and was in great pain. Needless to say, she had to stop.
Workman’s Comp. took forever to kick in, and all bills fell to the wayside.
She has tried to care for her husband and children while taking side jobs’, Many times. Now that their youngest is starting school, Jaime can go back to work, and has her resume at many locations.
Today, their landlord put an eviction notice on the door to their apartment giving them 3 days to pay, or get out! Both of their families have helped multiple times, but unfortunately.....they are also limited.
This is very difficult for them to ask for help. So I am asking on their behalf.
They are a couple months behind in car payments, and rent is overdue. It’s been difficult for them to live on Workman’s Comp.
Im reaching out, with all my heart! Every dollar counts! Can you please find it in your heart’s to help them? This couple is so deserving!
