In Loving Memory of Jaime Serrato❤️
Our beloved Jaime Serrato was born on December 2, 2003 and went home to God on September 20, 2025. Jaime touched every life he encountered with his kindness, laughter, and endless positivity. Jaime was more than a son, brother, and friend, he was a light in every room. He always had a smile on his face, a joke to share, and an incredible ability to make everyone around him feel loved and seen.
He was passionate about volleyball, playing, coaching, and refereeing and was a true leader who supported and encouraged his teammates and friends. Beyond sports, Jaime loved music, dancing, video games, and spending time with his family, friends, and his dog.
Even through both of his brave battles with cancer, chemotherapy, and radiation that began in 2023, Jaime never lost his faith, humor, or optimism. He first fought and beat Ewing sarcoma, and later faced AML leukemia with the same courage and positivity. He filled hospital rooms with laughter and hope, often reminding us all to “live one day at a time.” Jaime dreamed of one day volunteering at the hospital to bring joy and comfort to other children facing illness, that was the kind of heart he had.
This GoFundMe has been created to help our family honor Jaime’s memory and celebrate his beautiful life. Donations will go toward funeral and memorial expenses, and to continue his legacy of kindness and positivity, a legacy that will live on in everyone who knew and loved him.
The Serrato Espinosa family wants to thank you for your love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Jaime will forever be our sunshine, a reminder to live joyfully, love deeply, and smile every day.
