On August 29, we took our daughter Jaiden to the hospital for what we thought was just a bad stomach ache. Turns out the doctors discovered a tumor in her small intestine and had us flown immediately to UC Davis hospital for an emergency surgery.

They ran a number of procedures and operations on her to see where the tumor came from. They made predictions but on September 6th she was diagnosed with Lymphoma type B. Jaiden will start chemotherapy on Tuesday.

My wife is also 39 weeks pregnant and her and I are staying as strong as possible while commuting back and forth to Sacramento from Redding.

Jaiden is the sweetest, funniest, most caring 9 year old on the planet. If you know her, then you know how great of a kid she is and how much she doesn’t deserve this. She is staying so strong we are so proud of her for it. So Please, we as parents just ask that you keep her and us in your prayers and to please donate what you can in this time of need.

We will get through this together.
