Help Bring Jaidan Home: Support Her Recovery
Seventeen weeks in the hospital. Countless procedures. Two hospital transfers. A relentless battle against a life-threatening brain infection.
But finally—some good news. Jaidan’s infection has cleared, her blood clots are stable, and she has taken the next big step in her recovery: on March 3rd, she moved to the Toronto Rehab Institute, where she is receiving world-class therapy.
Her progress is inspiring—she is pedaling on a stationary bike, saying more words each week, and fighting harder than ever to regain the life she once knew. But the reality is, Jaidan is starting from scratch. She is re-learning how to talk, walk, and regain independence, step by step, day by day.
Her next big milestone? Coming home.
That’s where we come in.
Bringing Jaidan home will require significant home modifications—wheelchair accessibility, specialized equipment, and essential renovations to make daily life safer and more manageable. These changes will allow Jaidan to focus on her recovery without barriers standing in her way.
Now, more than ever, her family needs our support.
Every donation—big or small—will help make her homecoming possible and ensure she has the best chance at a full recovery.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and continued love for Jaidan. She is strong, but with our help, she will be even stronger.

Once again, the family thanks you all for all your thoughts and prayers. It is now 17 weeks that Jaidan has been in the hospital. She was transferred to Southlake Hospital on two separate occasions and both times had to be brought back to St. Michael’s due to complications. Good news was shared today; the neurosurgeon has advised that the infection is finally cleared and the blood clots are stable. PLEASE continue to pull for Jaidan!!!! She has a long road to recovery in front of her. She is strong and with your support she will get through this ! ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you all for your very generous donations. It is very heart warming to know that so many people are supporting her.
Jaidan has now been at St. Michael’s hospital in the ICU for 25 days.
Shawn and Kim (and friends and family) are very appreciative of the amazing doctors, nurses and care team at St. Mikes.
It has been a very rocky road. They continue to try and combat this relentless infection.
Please keep Jaidan in your thoughts and prayers.

Help Jaidan Knight and Her Family Through unfortunate Time.
Our beloved Daughter, sister, family, and friend Jaidan Knight, was hospitalized and endured multiple brain surgeries on Oct 10, 2024. What started out as a simple sinus infection (which was treated prior to for 5 months) tuned into a life threatening and life altering infection. Jaidan has undergone two emergency craniotomies and a major nasal surgery. She fought bravely for her life over this Thanksgiving weekend. She still remains in the ICU.
Her courage and resilience have been nothing short of a miracle, and while she’s currently battling the infection, the road to recovery is long and uncertain.
Jaidan is a beacon of love, kindness, and positivity for everyone who knows her. If you've had the privilege of crossing paths with her, you’ve experienced her huge heart and the joy she brings to everyone.
As Jaidan fights, her family is doing everything they can to be by her side in downtown Toronto.
We’re reaching out to all those who love and know Jaidan and her family asking for support during this time of need. Your contribution, large or small, will go directly towards easing the financial support of lodging and food for the family while being there for Jaidan in her time of need and ensuring Jaidan has the support she needs on her long road to recovery.
Let’s show Jaidan just how much her kindness and love have impacted all of us by helping her and her family through this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, share, and prayer makes a difference.
Thank you for being a part of Jaidan's healing journey.
With love,
Jaidan’s closest friends and family
