Jaicey's road to recovery
Donation protected
My name is Julia, I'm writing this today full of love for Jessica and Josh's daughter Jaicey who has had a non-stop battle since receiving the life altering news of her undiagnosed terminal illness.
Jaicey and family just went back to Seattle for what they thought was going to be a brain bypass; taking and molding an artery from her leg to replace in her brain. As surgery began and for reasons unknown, they decided not to do the bypass but instead added 3 clips to cut off supply to the large aneurysm they were targeting and 1 clip to a newly discovered (wasn't there the week before) aneurysm.
As of now, the clipping has been a successful treatment for her, but will still have to remain in Seattle the next 12 days either in the hospital or in a hotel to be close in case of emergency. Also, under the close watch she will be under, if signs start to show that the clipping is failing, they will be headed straight back to Seattle to do the bypass which is extremely dangerous given her history.
The Lupton family needs this community of people that love them to really circle around strong in this time of so many uncertainties and high emotional, physical and mental stress that comes along with everything they have all endured together to fight for Jaicey!
Here you can find more of her story in her Facebook group where updates are posted.
Even if it's just a dollar, anything and everything will help. All proceeds will go directly to the Lupton family for the expenses they accrue in hospital bills and lodging, as the hospital only allows 1 parent and has very limited sleeping space even for that 1 parent.
Thank you for your time reading this, and please share.
