Jahweh David: Fundraiser 4 Healing
Donation protected
Greetings everyone!
I'm Jahweh David, an artist, poet, esthetician, community activist, and leader. Life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with Lupus nephritis at 33, followed by end-stage renal disease three years ago, landing me on dialysis. Now, my kidneys are functioning at less than 5% and I'm in urgent need of a transplant to regain my health and vitality.
The daily battle with dialysis has been tough, leaving me grappling with nausea, anemia, fatigue, and constant discomfort. This has made it challenging to pursue my passion as an esthetician and artist. I've had to cut back on work and limit my clients due to the physical toll.
I long to return to a life where I can fully embrace my artistic pursuits and provide for my family without the constraints of illness. It's not easy for me to make this request, but I need your support. I'm reaching out to my community, friends, and loved ones to consider becoming a living kidney donor and to assist with funding for my medical expenses.
As I undergo the evaluation process for the transplant, I'm also actively seeking a suitable living donor. The surgery and recovery will require significant resources, including travel expenses and medical bills not covered by insurance. I'm aiming to raise $60,000 to alleviate the financial burden and ensure a smooth transition post-surgery.
I'm grateful for any help, whether it's spreading the word, considering becoming a living donor, or contributing to the fundraiser. Your support means a second chance at life for me, and I truly appreciate it.
