Jahsiah Medical and Housing Support

It is not everyday that you hear a story like the one of Jahsiah and his family.

Jahsiah was born premature and spent over 90 days in the NICU, shortly there after he had to undergo heart surgery, and now he is fighting a battle with cancer. There has been no time to adjust as complicated medical issues continue to be a reality for Jahsiah. He has navigated more than most of us ever will in just the couple of years he has been on this Earth.

The reality of this constant fight has had a huge impact on the entire family. Imagine being a parent navigating this with your youngest child while also trying to maintain work and support the growth of your older children too. This year of constant appointments and surgeries, and navigating life with a immunocompromised toddler during a pandemic, has made it challenging to keep the bills paid.

Jahsiah is about to have another surgery to get the tumors out of lung. This should be the only concern this family needs to focus on but they are now faced with the reality of housing insecurity.
